I would like for you to write a response to the following questions in as much detail as possible:
- Now that I've told you my expectations of a good student, what are your expectations of a good teacher?
- Tell me about the best teacher you've ever had. What made that person such a good teacher?
- Tell me about how you learn best. Give me an example of a project or unit where you learned a lot. Describe the project in detail.

The best teacher i ever had was amazing. He let us do pretty much whatever we wanted within reason as long as we got our work done on time. He would go over what we needed to learn and then give us time to do homework and ask questions if we had any. It was a math class so there were no big projets that he had us do. He would go over exactly what was going to be on the tests so there were no suprises. He also brought in donuts if everyone got a C or better on the test :)
My expectations of a good teacher is someone that cares and is willing to show the student how to understand something without being frusterated. They need to be nice. Being able to keep the classes attention is important. The best teacher I have ever had was Mrs. Emahiser in 6th grade. She kept the class organized and on task, but she would always make it fun and easy to relate to. She was energetic and loved hands on projects. I learn best with example and explanation. Hands on projects always help me a lot. In 6th grade we redecorated the front of the building with new trees, bushes, flowers, etc. It taught us a lot about science and how plants adapt to different weather.
1.My expectations for a good teacher are nice, funny, and honest that pretty much covers it.
2. the best teacher i have ever ad was mr. herasta. He was my 6th grade teacher and he was exactly what i liked about a teacher. he was funny, nice and made it so i understood what he was talking about.
3.I learn best by going hands on and approaching the thing I'am studing heads on. The unit i learned alot was when i was probably in gym class this year. I know since it was gym class there wasnt much to it but we played sports like soccor were i knew very little about and now i know that sport very well because i had played it.
I expect a good teacher to be understanding and respectful. Mrs. Stnager was my best teacher because she was good at explaining things and she made me motivated to do my best. The project I have learned the most from was the house i had to design and decorate. We had to draw out a floor plan of the house of our choice then pick out the room design, fabric, paint colors, furniture, and flooring.
My expectations of a good teacher are someone who actually cares about the student and someone who gives work with only effort needed
The best teacher I ever had was my sixth grade teacher Mr. Eaton. He was somewhat funny and he really gave work that was very accomplishable
I learn best from a hands-on teching style. I remember in eighth grade in architecture building models of houses which helped me learn about house regulations, supports, etc.
My expectations of a good teacher would have to be someone who can relate and talk to the students. Really, just about anyone can teach, but only some people are qualified to teach children, let alone moody teenagers. They would have to be the strong type, to make the class shut up and work when we need to; and they would have to be fairly nice as well. If a teacher is mean, students will be unwilling to learn from them; not paying attention in class, disregarding everything they say, maybe even on a subconscious level.
My favorite teacher, even if other people don't really like him, would have to be Mr. Hasley in the Jr High. He was nice when the class was doing what we were sopost to do, made everyone to the work and be quiet, and gave us detailed notes to help us on tests and quizes.
I learn best when someone lays out the information, like Mr. Hasley did. If I can read over the information, like from a book, I do much better. Of course, having a teacher explain the complicated parts is always a welcome help.
I dont really have any expectations of a good teacher. The best teacher i had was i think in third grade, she was a good teacher because she did a lot of crafts with us. I learn best by actually doing something instead of watching someone else do it. I dont think i learned anything from any of the projects i did.
1. I expect a good teacher to be kind and understanding to the students, take time out to help anyone who is having problems, and try to make learning a good experience for students.
2. The best teacher I've ever had was probably my Consumer Awareness teacher, Mrs. Stanger. She was a great teacher because she was kind, easy to work with, and taught everything her students needed to learn. She made it easy to understand the concept of things that weren't so exciting to learn.
3. I learn best when I see an example of how something should be done. It's easier for me to have a visual aid of something rather than explained directions. For example, in Geometry I understood the problems because my teacher would do examples on the board and show exaclty how a certain type of problem could be solved.
1. A good teacher is someone who answer's questions and who explains things till you understand it.
2. Mr. Robinson, Junior High Teacher, I have learned so much about writing an article in the school newspaper. He was such a great teacher because he helped you with other classes you didn't understand too.
3. I learn best by seeing how you do the assignment and hearing what to do on it.
4. Our last issue, I was an editor of the sports page, I took alot of responsibilies to get my page done on time. It took a while to proofread all of the articles.
1. The expectations I have for a teacher are someone that is willing to help out and is honest and trustworthy.
2. The best teacher I ever had was probably Mr. Robinson in 8th grade. He was very kind and could always make you feel better. If you were doing bad in another class he would help you bring that grade up. He was definately someone I could trust.
3. I learn mostly actually doing things and sometimes figuring them out on my own. The class I learned the most in was probably Online Experience A. I learned the most in this class because we did the things that we needed to learn.
I think a good teacher is someone that will trust the students and the have a good sence of hummor and are also nice.
The best teacher I ever had would be my seventh grade teacher he let us watch movies go outside and have parties.
He also had us play games for us to learn for a test the next day.
When he gave us reports to do he would let us do it on basically whatever we wanted to be on, but it had to be 750 words.
1. My expectations of a good teacher are most likely the same with everyone else. It's nice when a teacher is fun, funny, and nice. It really puts us students to sleep when a teacher just talks the entire time, then hands out paper. It makes us not want to listen and we start to go off in our own little world.
2. Mr. Titus was the coolest teacher I have ever had. He was always making us laugh and his class was fun. What made him a good teacher was his trust in us, he trusted that if he gives us work, we'll do it, and that's exactly what happened. When we were done we could usually go on the internet and look around, as long as it wasn't any games or anything bad.
3. I learn best when the class is a hands on class. I hate sitting there and listening to the teacher just talk about the lesson and expect me to know every little thing he/she says, then when I ask a question, they say, "Well maybe you should've been listening!" So basically, it's like we're not aloud to ask questions cause we're susposed to comprehend everything the teacher says the first time they say it. A project that I learned a lot with was the skeleton project in health. Building and labeling the skeleton really helped me get to know the bones of the body a lot more than just reading about it would have. In fact, we did read about it and i still didnt know. But the visual aid of the skeleton helped me a lot with that lesson.
To me a good teacher has fun with the students but also makes them learn the subject.
Mr.Titus because he would have fun with us but he also taught the subject. He made 5th hour so much fun.
I really don't know how i learn the best but i think it is by showing examples.
When we did a report on a person or thing. You pick what you want to do on your report and you do research on the person, place,or thing.
My expectations for a good teacher is just give us respect, and understand us. I really cant ask any more from a teacher. The best teacher that I have ever had was in third and fourth grade at temperance road elementary her name is Mrs. Hite. Mrs. Hite was the best teacher I have ever had because not only was I pretty much alost on the virge of failing, she helped me every day. When I was in fourth grade my dad passed away, I was out of school for about 2-3 weeks and when she found out about my dad she called my house askeed me if I was ok and then talked to my grandma, when my grandma got off the phone she told me that Mrs. Hite was going to take me to go get my dress for my dads funeral. So that day Mrs. Hite took me and my sisters teacher Mrs. Arnold took my sister to get her dress. All in all Mrs. Hite was the best teacher. And because it as like five years ago I dont remember any projects.
My expectations of a good teacher is someone who cares about all of his/her students, who is understanding in all situations, and is respectful to everyone and considers everyone's feelings.
I think Mr. Robinson was the best teacher I ever had. He was a good teacher not so much because he was nice to everyone, because you shouldn't be a pushover, BUT he taught us a lot of good life lessons and always took the time out to help someone who needed it the most. Also, he was respectful and trustworthy and looked at both sides or perspectives of a situation. The best way that I learn is with a teacher who gets up and talks about things and explains them in detail. Ms. Manore was a good teacher because she gave us a lot of homework to get it through our heads the material that we needed to know. She also would get up during class and describe stuff to us to make us understand what we were reading and learning. It made me do a lot better on my tests and get an A in the class.
My expectations of a teacher is to teach us what we need to know for the futrure but, at the same time having fun. The best teacher I ever had was Mr.Tidus. He was so awsome he was funny LOUD and an awsome guy. I learn by hands on experience and the unit I learned alot in was my math class. I am really bad at math so to learn new things is a big help. 1. My expectation of a good teacher is one that has a good sence of humor. One who tke things nice and easy for everyone, and is nice
2. My favorite teacher so far is Mr. German. Because he was funny, always cracking jokes, and he gave his whole class nicknames.
3. I like to learn best in a fun and emergizing way. Mostly because I tend to fall asleep in normal classes. lol
1) My expectations of a good teacher are nice and help out students who need it.
2) The best teacher I ever had would be Mr. Scheffer. What made him such a good teacher is that he helped out with whatever we needed.
3) I learn best when I am doing the work by myself and there are no distractions. An example of a project that I learned a lot would be the health project I am currently doing. In this project, we did a test to see which of our four values are highest to us. Then, we get a regular-sized poster board and write our name in the middle and divide the poster into four quadrants. Each quadrant represents a different value. We are supposed to fill each quadrant with picture and words for that value.
